Finance & Administration Oversees the financial affairs of the Association; assists in development of the annual operating/financial budget. Monitors the efficient business operations of the Association. Community Relations Enhances the image of Shelton Parents' Association area with an emphasis on the diversity of services offered. Membership Undertakes programs to encourage and expand Association membership; also organizes and coordinates the biannual Shelton Parents' Association Volunteer Registration. Speakers Promotes community education about learning differences in intelligent students with learning differences (LD). Supports the education of parents actively seeking help for children with dyslexia, attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Social Activities Informs Association members of current events. Special Events Creates and promotes special programs and activities to stimulate interest and involvement of Association members and to benefit the community.
